How to Shorten Outdoor String Lights: A Step-by-Step Guide

### Step 2: Locate the Cut Point

Once you know how much you want to shorten the lights, locate the cut point on the string. The cut point should be between two bulbs, as cutting through a bulb will damage the lights.
